Wyatt Ellis is a mandolinist and singer from East Tennessee who leads his own bluegrass band. He took up mandolin at age ten and performed at the Grand Ole Opry at thirteen, and his debut album of original instrumentals, Happy Valley, reached number one on Billboard's bluegrass chart. His band is known for playing around a single microphone.
