Trey Hensley and His Bluegrass Band is the working band of guitarist and singer Trey Hensley, a Johnson City, Tennessee native now based in Nashville. Hensley played the Grand Ole Opry at age eleven with Marty Stuart and Earl Scruggs, spent years recording as a duo with dobro player Rob Ickes, and won a Grammy in 2025 with the Taj Mahal Sextet. The set draws on flatpicked bluegrass, country and blues.
