The Robert Cray Band

The Robert Cray Band is the group led by American blues guitarist and singer Robert Cray, who was born in Columbus, Georgia in 1953 and raised largely in Tacoma, Washington. Cray began fronting his own band around 1980 and broke through with the 1986 album Strong Persuader. He has won five Grammy Awards and is a Blues Hall of Fame inductee.
