Jesse Smathers & Nick Goad

Jesse Smathers and Nick Goad are bluegrass musicians from the southwest Virginia scene who also perform together as a duo. Smathers is the guitarist and a lead vocalist of the Lonesome River Band, which he joined on mandolin in 2015 before moving to guitar in 2021, and Goad is a mandolin player who has recorded with Sideline, Mason Via and on Smathers own releases.
