Fisher Peak Timber Rattlers

The Fisher Peak Timber Rattlers are an old-time string band from the Galax area of southwestern Virginia, led by fiddler and banjo player Stu Shenk and including Dan and Dot Shikenjanski and Ed Dalton. The group has played the region for more than fifteen years, drawing on tunes shared around the Blue Ridge for over a century.
