Carrie Underwood is an American country singer from Checotah, Oklahoma, who won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Her debut album Some Hearts became the best-selling solo female country debut, followed by records including Carnival Ride, Blown Away and Storyteller. She has won eight Grammy Awards and has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2008.
